Description
The ADAM-4521 addressable converter lets you build an RS-485 network using RS-232 devices by assigning each device and address for easier communication. A special I/O circuit in the ADAM-4521 automatically senses the direction of the data flow and switches the transmission direction. No handshaking signals are necessary. Transmission speeds up to 115.2 Kbps are supported.
