Description
The IA-2126-E is a 32 channels TCP/IP/Ethernet Digital I/O module with several unique operation modes.
Among the modes there is the traditional Slave mode that can use Polling or Auto Report mode to monitor the input lines.
A second operation mode enables normal Ethernet communication, while Auto Report burst of information generated by Input state change can be reported on a different IP/Port channel.
A third operation mode was designed to handle a Peer-to-Peer operation, enabling a two way state reflection between two modules of this kind, in a direct way without the need for a host computer.
Another feature of this module is choosing a Pull-up or Pull-down input structure to best fit their data source.
Extra dual, Digital I/O lines, provides two more I/O channels, which can operate both as Input or output and can be optionally used for Synchronization, Handshaking, Communication, etc.
The Software support package for the new IA-2126-E controller includes Microsoft Visual Studio DLL, Labview Driver, software examples, and software utilities, designed to operate the device and configure it if needed. The software utility includes a command line, enabling the user to evaluate and get familiar with the system and the commands list.
